Turf Suppliers Gympie

Any lawn variety you choose for Gympie and surrounding areas in the Wide-Bay Burnett district, must be able to cope with a warm temperate climate and significant rainfall. Gympie receives rainfall year-round, even in its driest month. July and August still can have up to eight days of rain a month.

There are many great varieties of turf that suit the Gympie and Wide-Bay Burnett region that can be purchased direct from our suppliers to your door.

Zoysia turf types like Empire Zoysia™, Nara Native Zoysia™ and Augusta Zoysia® Lawn are popular for this climate. Zoysia’s are slower growing and therefore mean less maintenance for you.

If you’re looking for a Buffalo grass – Prestige® Buffalo , Sapphire Buffalo and Palmetto Buffalo grow well in these conditions. Buffalo’s generally have a Broad Medium Leaf Blade and a high wear tolerance – great for children and pets.

OZTUFF Couch is also available, for those looking for a hard wearing, quick recovering grass for your backyard or sports field.

There are many variables that make your lawn unique. How do you choose the right one for your home?  Below are some questions to consider when choosing a new Gympie Lawn.

• How much shade will your lawn get?
• Do you have pets or young children?
• Are you looking for a more drought tolerant lawn?
• Do you have time for maintenance?
• Do you live near the beach or water?
• Do you only have a small lawn?
