Echelon Duo 20kg, – is a combination Herbicide, Insecticide and Fertiliser granular product used for preemergent control of Summer Grass, Crowsfoot Grass, Wintergrass and Creeping Oxalis. For pests, Echelon Duo offers control of African Black Beetle, Argentinian Scarab and Billbug. Not to forget the added benefit of fertiliser to feed turf for up to 10 weeks. With the active ingredients of Oxadiazon and Thiamethoxam, a 20kg bag of Echelon Duo can cover up to 660sqm.
Echelon Duo is suitable for Kikuyu, Couch, Zoysia and Buffalo grasses with an application rate of 3-4kg/100sqm. As per DIRECTION OF USE – do not apply on turf containing Carpet Grass, Centipede Grass and Dichondra unless some damage is acceptable. NOT to be used on newly seeded areas.
For application of Echelon Duo 20kg, use a hand or push spreader and apply the granules in a uniform pattern. Uniform application is essential for satisfactory weed control.
Also, for good weed control, apply during calm conditions, thereby reducing drift to non-target areas and optimising particle distribution.
Before application, ensure turf area is free of leaves and other debris, mowing if necessary, so that the granules reach the soil surface.
Delay reseeding of Ryegrass or Bentgrass into treated areas for 4-5 months (Ryegrass 4 months and Bentgrass 5 months).
DO NOT mix granules with the soil.
DO NOT apply granules when the turf foliage is wet.
DO NOT apply to newly seeded turf areas.
DO NOT apply if heavy rains or storms are forecast within 3 days.
DO NOT irrigate to the point of water runoff from the treated area.
DO NOT over apply, especially under trees and/or shrubs. Avoid contact with flowers and shrubs.
