Barricade 1L Information
Barricade 1L is a pre-emergent liquid herbicide that controls a wide range of weeds and is suitable for use on Zoysia, Kikuyu, Buffalo and Couch grasses.
What Does Barricade 1L treat/control/assist with?
Barricade 1L offers a very economical solution for the control of Barnyard Grass, Crab Grass, Parramatta Grass, Rat’s Tail, Summer Grass, Crowsfoot Grass, African Lovegrass, Bahia Grass, Kentucky Blue Grass, Paspalum, Winter Grass, Creeping Oxalis, Cudweed, Prairie Grass, Ryegrass, Sow Thistle and Willowherb.
Barricade 1L has the active ingredient Prodiamine (480 g/L) and is a trusted product to last up to 6 months giving you a more flexible application window.
One of the most important benefits of Barricade 1L is that it binds strongly into the soil profile ensuring your lawn’s roots, below the barrier, are not affected and your lawn stays in prime condition.
Application of Barricade 1L should be targeted close to the soil surface to ensure optimum results. Barricade 1L needs to be washed-in within 7 days after application and should not be blended onto dry fertiliser of any other granular material.
DO NOT apply Barricade 1L to any lawn that is under stress or garden beds over the top of mulch.
DO NOT apply Barricade 1L to newly laid lawn, delay application until your new lawn has an established root system that has developed beyond 3cm in depth.
DO NOT apply Barricade 1L if heavy rain is forecast within 48 hours and DO NOT apply to waterlogged soil.
DO NOT irrigate to the point of runoff within 3 days of Barricade 1L application.
Application Rate: 10-40mL/100sqm.
