Tribute 1L Herbicide Information
Tribute 1L is a selective post-emergent herbicide that provides control for grass weeds such as Wintergrass, Ryegrass, Crowsfoot Grass, Goose Grass, Paspalum and Kikuyu in lawns.
Tribute herbicide is only suitable for use on Zoysia and Couch lawns and CANNOT be used on Queensland Blue Couch, Buffalo and Kikuyu lawns.
Application Rates
Tribute application rate is 15mL/100sqm. 1L Tribute can cover up to 6660sqm.
Tribute is predominantly a foliar herbicide with less activity in the soil and should be applied through spray application and nozzles that deliver a medium spray droplet. Therefore, it is recommended to use Tribute with Wetter 600 for more effective results.
Always ensure your spray tank is completely clean prior to mixing your Tribute and always ensure complete and even coverage to all weeds is achieved.
User higher spray volumes of Tribute for dense weed populations.
Tribute will not reliably control weeds that emerge after spraying. The BEST results are when Tribute is applied under good growing conditions and to weeds that are actively growing and not under stress.
Avoid mowing your lawn 3 to 4 days preceding treatment with Tribute.

- Foramsulfuron – 22.5g/L
Caution
- DO NOT apply Tribute through any type of irrigation equipment.
- DO NOT apply Tribute with a nozzle height greater than 50cm above the ground.
- DO NOT apply Tribute to lawn or weeds under stress.
- DO NOT apply Tribute on lawn exhibiting injury from previous applications of other products (such as aerating).
- DO NOT apply Tribute if heavy rain has been forecast within 48 hours.
- DO NOT apply Tribute to waterlogged soil.
- DO NOT apply Tribute within two weeks of Couch grass sprigging.
- DO NOT apply Tribute when the wind speed is less than 3 or more than 20km per hour as measured at the application site.
- DO NOT apply if there are aquatic or wetland areas including aqua cultural ponds, surface streams and rivers within 80m downwind from the Tribute application area.
- DO NOT apply Tribute if there are sensitive crops, gardens, landscaping vegetation, protected native vegetation or protected animal habitat within 30m downwind from the application area.
